The Cornerstone of Mount Crumpit

This is what we're all about. Today marks the anniversary of the Grinch film's release to DVD/VHS on November 20th, 2001. It was that day that the Bidwell brothers and I formed our admiration and respect for the film which has since allowed us to express it in this way. From that day on, the film has been a big part of our Holiday season each year. For the past few years, we've commemorated such an occasion with a viewing of the movie. Tonight will be no different.

The film is still largely available at most retailers Ive been to. I know that just today, I saw a 2-Disc Collector's Edition for around $14. I currently own three copies of this movie, so this is not needed.

Other news is a little low. Andy and I havent spoken any further on the Christmas Tree tutorial video, but I hope something can be done soon, as it would be a great addition to the site. I know that I personally Google'd some tree-picking tips, and I learned some very interesting things about what to really look for and what to avoid. Ill have to run the idea by Andy again and see if we can make it happen.

The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause is available as of today, and I am very excited to pick up a copy. I havent yet, but I plan to browse around, because most places have it tagged rather high in light of the Holidays. I might wait until next year to add it to the collection and review it, as Ive got several other works to keep me occupied. Andy and I, along with Alex and Brad watched Santa Clause 2 yesterday, and it was still a great experience. Until then, I had only seen it in the theaters back in 2002. A review should be up relatively soon.

Christmas is close. In the meantime, Have a great Thanksgiving.
