How the Grinch Stole Christmas REVIEWED BY ANDY BIDWELL I beleive this is by far the best christmas movie there is. This is what this site is based on and that is because Chad and I think this movie is great. I need to start off by saying that Jim Carey is an amazing actor and did a great job as the Grinch and you will understand more if you listen to our radio show. Also the movie is not exactly like the cartoon it is a lot longer and some things are added. For those of you whom think the movie is no good, I am here to tell you that you have a bad taste for christmas movies. Ok This move is about a town called whoville that is in a snowflake. The Grinch came down how all other who babies come down but the Grinch was diffrent then all the other who babbies. He was green and hairy and was often picked on by all the other kids when he was in school. Well one day he was picked on too much and it drove him to hate christmas, so kid Grinch climbed to the top of Mount Crumpit and there he made his home and he has lived there ever since. Well years later he finally comes down and visits whoville in disguise. During his visit he meets little Cindy Lou. After Cindy meets the Grinch he thinks that he isnt as bad as people made him out to be. So come the whooville whoobilation whe the mayor asks who the nomination should be for the holiday cheermister Cindy says the Grinch. Everyone is in shock that the Grinch was even metioned during the christmas season, but after she explains herself to all the whoos they all agree to have the Grinch be the holiday cheer mister. Well the tricky part is to have the Grinch come down. Cindy lou goes all the way up Mount Crumpit and enters the Grinches cave. At first the Grinch is shocked but then starts to listen to the girl and agrees to come down. Well after she leaves he starts to have secind thoughts but finally he goes down. After they do all the things with the cheer mister that they usually do, it is time for the the gift exchange. They start with the Grinch and he mayor(the one that always made fun of the Grinch) gives him a razor. Well thisw doesnt go well with teh Grinch becasue it brings back bad memories and this is when the Grinch snaps and tell the whoos that all they care about is gifts and that the the whole christmas season is stupid stupid stupid. When the Grinch returns home he thinks of a master plan to take away christmas from the whos. He dresses up as santa nd makes a sleigh and turns his dog into a reigndeer and goes down to whooville and takes all of the whoos and they christmas related things. Once he returns to his house he hears all of the whos come out of their homes and they all cry boo hoo. When the mayor starts to blame cindy lou of the Grinch taking christmas, Lou, Cindies father, tells the mayor that christmas inst about presents its about being with your family, and that is what cindy has been trying to tell everyone. After this they all start to sing and the Grinch hears this and realizes that christmas isnt about presents and his heart grows 3 sizes bigger that day. Cindy goes back to the top of Mount Crumpit to see the Grinch because she says that no one should be alone on christmas, but when she gets to the top where the sleigh is the Grinch isnt there so she gets on the sleigh. Well the sleigh starts to fall and the Grinch runs up there to save it. When the Grinch gives up because he cant hold the sleigh back Cindy pops her head out and syas hi. That is when the Grinch brings out his tru power and picks the sleigh up and the Grinch and Cindy Lou go down to whoville and the Grinch gives all the presents back and sya he is sorry. The people of whoville forgive the Grinch and they become friends and they have their feast at the grinches house. MOUNT CRUMPIT RATING: 5 / 5 |
